Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Rani Mukerji, and Jaya Bachchan arrived at the inauguration of the Kolkata International Film Festival. Amidst the negative publicity Pathan is getting, SRK gave a befitting reply to the trolls –
“I have absolutely no objection in telling this that the world has done nothing and you and all the positive people are alive”.
Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, and Rani Mukerji inaugurated the Kolkata International Film Festival and joined many other dignitaries on stage at the event. Mahesh Bhatt, Kumar Sanu, Shatrughan Sinha, Jaya Bacchan, Arijit Singh, and Sourabh Ganguly were among the many celebrities on the stage at the event
Sharukh khan and Rani came on stage and met all the dignitaries but when Shah Rukh Khan met Big B and Jaya Bachchan, he took their blessings by touching their feet. Big B hugged Shahrukh very lovingly and the two spoke to each other for a few minutes before Shahrukh khan took his seat. Rani also greeted Amit ji and Jaya ji with lots of love and it was beautiful to see all of them together on stage.
Sharukh khan is facing a lot of negativity and trolling for the song ‘Beshram Rang’ released recently. Shahrukh khan did not address this controversy directly but replying to his critics and social media trolls, Shahrukh khan said that he was coming to Kolkata after many days because nothing was normal in the world, and now things are getting back to normal. He is feeling very happy.
Shahrukh also included a little Bengali in his speech and said that his friend Rani Mukherjee had written these lines to him. Shahrukh khan said – “I have promised Didi that whenever I come here, I will try to speak in Bengali, today Rani Mukherjee came on my target, so I tricked her and got her to write a complete Bengali speech, so if I say well them but if I do it badly then it’s rani’s fault.
Commenting on the impact of social media on people, Shah Rukh said – “A COLLECTIVE NEGATIVE OF A TIME HAS been SHAPED BY A SOCIAL MEDIA AND the BELIEF THAT the SPREAD OF SOCIAL MEDIA WILL EFFECT CINEMA NEGATIVELY, I BELIVE CINEMA HAS AN MORE IMPORTANT ROLE TO PLAY NOW.
There is hardly any celebrity as charming and kind as King Khan.
